I have been working at Wyndham Destinations full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good Benefits, Travel and Retail Discounts, Recently Renovated and Company Culture welcomes creativity and values input.

    Cons

Money: Company Resists Investments in Upgrades and Upkeep to service areas.
Income: Very Low Tips (too many foreign and low income visitors)
Hours of Operation do not line up with demand.

    Advice to Management

Invest money and maintenance in all areas, just not where guests will frequent, it shows.
Some locations draw guest that do not tip (either from culture or willingness), in this case Automatic Gratuity is needed to retain quality talent and reduce turnover.
Evaluate your business and adjust your Hours of Operation in outlets accordingly, this reduces costs and does not waste the time of employees that rely on tips for income.

I have been working at Wyndham Destinations full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

By the beach. Benefits and weekly direct deposit.
Co-workers are like friends and family. Great training. Free meals. Potential for high income.

    Cons

Finding free parking or buy Oceanside city parking pass $200.00. Base pay is very low and usually only work 5-6 hours daily. Attendance and being in time drive if you're made to sit on the bench that day if you're even 30 seconds late, which means no tour, base pay only. 11.00hr in Oceanside. Must have ipad to clock in and out. Having another income and key time mgmt and afford to pay for parking are imperative if you want to work in this location.

I have been working at Wyndham Destinations full-time

    Pros

Coming from one call center where you micro managed so hard that you were forced to write people up when their bathroom break was over 7 min long, to this one was a complete 180. Everyone is welcoming, and encouraging of those who are new to the department.

    Cons

Can't start your 401K until after you've been employed for 1 year.

    Advice to Management
