I worked at Wyndham Vacation Ownership full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The pay is well worth it, helping members pay their accounts, the benefits, break rooms are comfortable and offer coffee, tea and water. The culture of what the owner wanted was impressive. Melissa and the team leads were nice and cared about the well being of the new hires.

    Cons

Favoritism in training, Wyn Time/clocking in system would fail to clock you in although it would show that it would process and you still get pointed for it, Trainers not listening to you when you explain how you were on time, and would make inappropriate comments or be disrespectful with their comments of you towards other hires. The culture is not carried out from upper management. or the trainers Managers barely on the floor and leave early.

    Advice to Management

Be there for your employees even when they email you, a response /reply would at least show you care. Practice that culture that is preached in training and actually abide by it. Stop the favoritism. And understand that WYN Time causes so many issues and research when your employee is actually in the system working calls before you mark them with point accumulation. I was a hard worker and processed payments daily during outbound calls/cloud dialing to members who have not paid in months. Melissa BP should be in a higher position, she really cares about everyone.

I worked at Wyndham Vacation Ownership full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Really good people and culture are at the heart and bottom level of the company. Great company travel benefits (discounted price for stay at resorts).

    Cons

Getting ahead depends on who you know and your best friend at work. Good performance is not valued, and people with bad performance continue to stay because of their relationships.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the nepotism and really evaluate performance when considering new hires and promotions.
