    Pros

Keeps you busy so the day goes by fast, loved my coworkers, pretty easy job, loved to work independently, if you did need help there are people willing to help you.

    Cons

I liked my job once I got use to dealing with difficult guest it got easier for me, some people can't handle those situation so there was a pretty high turnover.

    Advice to Management

    Nothing.

I have been working at Wyndham Worldwide full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good amount of vacation time and 401K match

    Cons

    People being promoted without experience.

    Advice to Management

Be careful who gets promoted. This company is going to have a brain drain soon and loose a lot of great people overnight.

I worked at Wyndham Worldwide full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Loved my co-workers, pay was good, benefits were decent.

    Cons

Work for 7 years, innovated my area, reduce costs, delivered high volume, exceeded expectations consistently for 7 years, no bad reviews, then let go with no explanation other than eliminated my position. I had a lead position. Passive aggressive leaders, only promote those in the click.

    Advice to Management

    none... they are the problem

I have been working at Wyndham Worldwide full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The company cares about its employees, vacation discount perks, a few brilliant minds at the top of the food chain

    Cons

Salary is under market, workload not distributed fairly or evenly, some big personalities with narrow opinions holding positions for too long

I have been working at Wyndham Worldwide full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Getting to interact with and learn from a variety of guests.

    Cons

Dealing with corporate mentality is a major con, it can be restrictive and limiting. The pay is also not that great and the hours are rough. Weekends and holidays are the busiest times, so it's hard to find a work/home balance, especially if you have a family. It's hard to justify the crappy hours when the pay is so low.

    Advice to Management

Try to be genuine and really look at people in the eye, don't look through them. It makes a difference to the team. We can tell when it's real.

I worked at Wyndham Worldwide full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I enjoyed working for the company for 13 years and met some amazing professionals! The team and benefits were great and I enjoyed going to work everyday and the customers I came in contact with.

    Cons

Every year, you pray you don't become part of a lay off/reorganization.

    Advice to Management

Really take a hard look at your talent pool and make sure you keep your loyal and hard working employees satisfied. The yearly lay offs are cruel and the company changed a lot since I started working there over 17 years ago. Benefits and perks are great, but really focus on the people who want to be at the company and build it up.

I have been working at Wyndham Worldwide full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very progressive culture, excellent leaders, well organized, wonderful and friendly culture, concerned about everyone's quality of life, excellent benefits, mindblowing perks, flex time, great food, on campus physician, lactacian room, education programs, very green and entirely wind powered at headquarters, into recognizing those who earn it, positive and innovative solutions, truly cares about both employees (associates) and their customers worldwide, great social and cultural groups on campus for diversity in general, but also specific cultural organizations including gay straight alliance, paid volunteerism days given, 35 hour work week --- I can't say enough good honestly. I've been here one month and the way I feel about this company reminds me of the first month I was dating my husband -- I can't understand why everyone isn't in love with this place and I'm hoping to lock it down for the rest of my life.

    Cons

I'm sure there are some but I'm still in the honeymoon phase of my relationship with this company. Having a Starbucks in each building is turning me into a caffeine addict? Sure that works

    Advice to Management

Keep on doing what you do. This company has actually managed to make me feel like I hit the lottery, even though I have to continue earning a living. The associates are astonished at the level of social responsibility engrained in this culture by you all and we can't thank you enough for thinking of people at our level of the totem poll even though you're at the top. If only there were more companies and leaders like this in the world!
