    Pros

Great location to work at, beautiful grounds and view. The staff in general are wonderful people who are very friendly and service orientated.

    Cons

There was a lack of follow thru with many staff members. Team members were over worked many times and no one really had time or energy to pick up the extra slack. Due to high cost of living in the area the housekeeping staff were always short handed causing a ripple effect to the other departments.

    Advice to Management

Pay the housekeeping staff more money, find ways to provide ride sharing from local areas that are affordable to live in to the resort so staff can afford to commute to work.

    Pros

Great benefits. Easy company to work. Decent pay

    Cons

No one held responsible. Few vertical moves. Customer satisfaction is not even considered

    Advice to Management

Start caring. Sitting in a building 100s of miles away doesn't mean the problem don't exist. Get out and view the offices and properties its abysmal.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Wyndham Worldwide (More than 10 years)

    Pros

People are generally pretty nice. The office is brand new and very modern. In-house dry cleaning service is convenient.

    Cons

There are constant reorganizations which impact employee moral. There is a huge disconnect amongst senior leaders' vision and strategy. The right hand never seems to know what the left hand is doing which leads to so many reorganizations and stress amongst employees.

    Advice to Management

The political power struggle at upper levels of management needs to be addressed. Additionally, there is no one to be trusted in HR

I worked at Wyndham Worldwide full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The commission is great and the benefits.

    Cons

Favoritism, the seniors and management don't help when you need it to say they are getting paid off your tours. The Seniors lie on their one on one reports. Your commission money always messed up. They are letting people send in unqualified tours so they want be written up. Some employees including senior cma changes the FOC status in the system from C to U to get the tours. They preach about teamwork but they all for themselves. They suppose to give 2 week grace period if a change occurs but they don't. They also change the quarterly agreement (so you can get a clean slate) so employees that yhey don't like could be fired. Very unfair.

    Advice to Management

    Stick to one occur.

I worked at Wyndham Worldwide full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay and bonus were excellent, "perks" such as President Club and quarterly trips are second to none. Growth opportunities were great as well.

    Cons

Get a new VP in the Bay Area!!! Shady is the best way to describe my experience with this individual. Will smile in your face as she stabs you in the back. When I came to her with the fact that I was being verbally and physically abused by my partner at the time, her response was to fold her arms and say "Do you think I care? Do you think anyone cares? This is a business, Wall Street is not emotional!" Also, I was fired because I didn't have the clothing and "swag" that was supposedly required to work in the Bay Area. Absolutely unacceptable!

    Advice to Management

Understand that when someone who once did very well in their job suddenly starts to slip in their performance, there might be a reason there. Be open, listen to them, don't tell people that no one cares and all that matters is that you do their job. And don't write-up people and ultimately fire them because their clothing is not up to what you believe they should wear. Some people can't afford designer suits.
