The supervisors played favorites and were always writing up officers for petty offenses

    Advice to Management

Don’t make it obvious you have favorites
    Listen to the staff
You’re not above anyone else cause you’re in a black coat

I have been working at Wynn Resorts full-time

    Pros

Great company perks, discounts, comp show ticket opportunities often

    Cons

Moving up or moving to another department is difficult unless you have strong connections/family in upper management

    Advice to Management

Working as a team gets you further rather than building a rift between managers and employees

    Pros

It is a good casino to work for.

    Cons

The only bad thing is that once you are in there is hard to transfer to a different department. They rather give opportunity to outsider. I tried moving for like 2 yrs and I don't get the opportunity to better my self.

    Pros

Great Work environment, all of the staff become friends pretty quickly, everyone has each other back for the most part, pay is good for the work that you put in.

    Cons

Everything felt like it was a grey area meaning you didn't know if you could get fired or "caught" from the resort/"secret shopper" for doing something that a manager would ask of you. Hours and time wanted you to be just "around" was a lot a.k.a. asking for tips. The job itself becomes very repetitive, same thing every week. No real formal training just thrown to see if you have it or not. If you don't have it you're gone. Some employees love Steve Wynn others run the other way when he walks around.

    Advice to Management

None. They wouldn't take it anyways.

I worked at Wynn Resorts full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great food and the hotel is beautiful to see everyday. A fun time place to visit if you've got a need to gamble.

    Cons

Driving to the strip everyday. Management seems to micromanage their employees. I think they should get off their high horse and come down to earth. A lot of stuck up people there.

    Advice to Management

    Relax a little bit
