    Pros

Hourly pay is slightly better than other resorts on the strip.

    Cons

Point system needs to be re-evaluated. People have gotten in car accidents and have to call work before heading to the hospital.

Politics, double standards, stress, and tons of money

    Pros

MONEY. You will earn more tips here than most of the other resorts. Work here and your resume is golden... You'll be able to work ANYWHERE.

    Cons

Tips are great, but hourly and union wages are the LOWEST on the entire strip. Constant stress and threats. Very negative vibe and energy. Terrible morale, you hardly ever see co-workers that are genuinely happy with the company or happy to be at work, all from the negative reinforcement and constant threat of discipline. Poor management, never take account for own shortcomings and instead heaps blame on subordinates. The actual good managers never get the recognition or ever stay because only the brown nosers survive and thrive. You know what trickles down (rhymes with 'it'), from the always angry big boss to the entry level workers...

Could be better, like everything else...

    Pros

Free meal, beautiful resort, high clientele list and high volume (for the most part).

    Cons

Lowest Union paying positions on the strip, Wynn Employee garage is a headache, lots of pressure (depending where you work) due to constantly being shopped. Management has a lot of snitches and back-stabbers.

    Great place to work

Jul 7, 2020 - Director in Las Vegas, NV

    Business Outlook

    Pros

Work with the best of the best, always have new challenges to be better, you can create your own career by hard work and a great attitude, upper management (Matt Maddox specifically) did right by "the people" during the 3 month pandemic closure in Las Vegas by paying everyone even steady extras the entire closure and kept all benefits in place

    Cons

Salary is average compared to others in hospitality on the Las Vegas Strip, we have had re-organizations in the past (EX: 2009-2010 during recession) and are getting ready for them now, however, they are lay-offs and furloughs, just called different names. Lots of change right now and some of it does not always make sense for company brand which is very disheartening to long-term, outstanding employees.

    Pros

Beautiful surroundings with an International brand recognition.

    Cons

Lowest pay on the Strip High degree of turn-around No one knows whats going on Great disconnect between management and their employees Horrible vacation - one week per year, and you can't take it until you've been there one year. Most people are there to get some experience and move on

    Pros

its full time with benefits, with good food in the cdr and only one hour paid lunch its like your in the amazing race because of the long lines. The pay is better for an entry level retail job than in other hotels/casinos in the strip.

    Cons

too much micromanagement , Jealousy and back stabbing is common. Not a happy place to work. Too uptight and they are too scared of the Forbes reviewer. They think new hires are dumb when theyre actually NEW HIRES. How will you know the system right away if you are so new to the company.
