    Great culture created by the university that promoted hard work and a family like relationship between coworkers

    Cons

    Seasonal job that was not able to field steady jobs year round

    Pros

    Xavier University provides you with the D1 school qualities, but is small enough where it is truly it's own community. Xavier provides small class sizes, and a vast range of employment opportunities.

    Cons

    Less programs and majors than most D1 schools

    I have been working at Xavier University full-time

    Pros

    Staff is really friendly to work with and everyone is well connected at the school.
    University environment is very calm compared to corporate world.
    100% Tuition Remission for Employees.
    Yearly sponsored professional development.
    Great Health and Dental Benefits.

    Cons

    Overall wages for the employees is very low. Employees leave the university frequently which causes dramatic shifts in job responsibilities for departments across the university.

    Pros

    Working at Xavier University was a very pleasurable experience. The director was professional and very knowledgeable. Also, all the department staff were long term and like a family.

    Cons

    The enrollment of international students has declined leading to reduction in staff.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you are doing!

    I worked at Xavier University full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    The best thing about working at Xavier were the people who worked there. There was a real atmosphere of team work and cooperation among difference parts of the university.

    Cons

    At the time there was no room for advancement. Not sure if that has since changed.
