People are the strong point of this company that exhibit great teamwork. Full spectrum offerings of services in Agile PLM - from business consulting to technology solutions. Offerings in both Microsoft and Oracle technology stacks allows you to develop a well rounded exposure.

    Cons

Always searching for strategy and self reflection that inhibits action oriented decisions and growth.

I have been working at Xavor full-time

    Pros

Amazing work culture and environment with lots of growth opportunities. now focused around PLM and certain verticals so one gets the opportunity to focus.

    Cons

it is still relatively small and California focused so there isn't much travel and opportunity to get diverse experience if that is what one is looking for. It can get boring after some time.

    Advice to Management

Focus on sales and grow the company. Also may be think about diversifying out of plm

I have been working at Xavor full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Independent and inclusive environment. Always trying to do something new which could be a minus since never get good at one thing for any substantial number of years

    Cons

Career ceiling reached quickly. Acts like a start-up looking for an idea instead of a mature company with sound grounding from its existence since the late 1990's.

    Advice to Management

Focus on a very few key areas and execute on them. Execution is missing.

    Pros

Good client list to work with. The projects I worked on were really interesting and challenging. My boss was great motivator and it was a good learning experience. Being a smaller company, there are lots of opportunities to prove your ground.

    Cons

It is a small company, so there no formal processes. HR policies are inconsistent across employees. HR and Finance department horrible to work with.

    Advice to Management

Should have same employee policies for all employees.

I worked at Xavor full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Good salaries and annual increments
    Provident fund and medical
    Flexible timings

    Cons

Company is doing suicide by narrowing business to Agile PLM
.Net and other technologies dying as company is not taking new clients other than Agile PLM
    No processes at all
Tasks are assigned randomly, you start focusing on one task and after few hours you are forced to switch to another. The main reason is that there are less developers and more tasks so they use you as CPU cores.
Managers does not even care which tools/technologies are being used. They just want quick delivery (usually within a couple of days)
No hierarchy, everyone reports to manager and even freshers are assigned independent tasks. This is worst practice any software company can do.
No room for senior resources in Lahore office, they always appreciate juniors. Once your experience crosses 6 years, managers are always looking for ways to target you so that you can leave and they can hire 4 juniors in the same budget.
People in US office are there since ages and they do not have any plan to leave in next decade because they are incompetent to get new job. Due to this reason, people have to wait for years after getting visa to shift to US office from Lhr.
CEO lives in china and does not event know what is going on
Late night meetings and support are common.
Since there are less people and more tasks, taking leave is considered crime. Even if your leave is approved, you have to provide support on call and meetings.

    Advice to Management

-Stop this Agile PLM BS and get back in the software development business.
    -Implement processes
