Looks good on paper, but frustrating reality
May 18, 2022 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
-Good benefits and pay -Some teammates are kind/good to work with -Opportunities to step up as a leader (but at the expense of poor management)
Cons
-Unorganized/chaotic, which is surprising for a company of this size -I am the only woman on my team and often times feel singled out/targeted by male management -Lack of effective/efficient processes and communication -Occasional lack of respect from management/demeaning attitudes toward newer employees, lack of understanding and empathy -Lack of training -Poor leadership -Advertised as flexible work hours/good work-life balance, but this is not the reality
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
Nice team members and relax atmosphere
Cons
Difficult to get promotions and lot of politics

Pros
On paper, Xaxis is great. It's the lead and innovator when it comes to the programmatic space. There are some really great teams (but also not so great teams - see the Cons section). My manager is phenomenal but the success of her work and leadership is stifled by upper management and the "old guard".
Cons
The company is more like a financial company then a tech marketing company. Every thing needs to go through our finance team for approval which means things and decisions are often delayed. What is frustrating is that the finance team doesn't even understandting is that the finance team doesn't even understandting is that the finance team doesn't even understand our realities and serving our clients and brands. Yet, they're the ones making decisions. I don't think they've ever approach our team to even get an understanding what it's like to support an agency. I've been here for almost two years now but the veterans have a stronghold on everything. From decisions, to who we hire, to making improvements. We need change to systems and processes and the veterans don't like change.

My team was quite small but made sure that I was well versed in most aspects of business. Everyone was very personable and the overall internship program was very rewarding.
Cons
The intern program was still relatively new, so some things seemed very trial and error.

Amazing team and super formative
Cons
Too little direct contact with marketing managers

Chill place to work with friendly co-workers (all the way to the top).

Lots of opportunity for growth and to get involved on other teams if that's something you're interested in. Yearly raises, get promoted frequently, rewards and celebrates hardworkers.
Cons
A lot of people have been leaving this past year because so many companies are hiring and are either burnt out from the work that's been added onto their shoulders, or most of the time for more $$$. Even though I personally think Xaxis is competitive in the market.

Good benefits. Interesting dynamics, can move to other agencies or other parts of the business so lots of opportunity. Xaxis is not as big as its umbrella company so can sometimes have a nice team feel to it rather then feeling just a number. Innovative, up and coming.
Cons
More males is senior leadership teamnior leadership teamnior leadership team but a strong focus on this to promote equality so they are looking at it
