I have been working at Xerox full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible work hours and location, good people

    Cons

No pay increases even with promotions, long hours, large workload, and high turnover. Currently off shoring most of the US Jobs to India and Manila.

    Advice to Management

Start supporting and rewarding your employees and maybe they will stick around. Stop shipping their jobs outside of the US.

I worked at Xerox full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There is always someone to commiserate with.

    Cons

Not enough time in the world for this section. Slave labor, pitiful salary in relation to hours worked, management makes zero attempt to allow for work-life balance, management refuses to acknowledge you until you resign, zero training or support for new technology...the list goes on.

    Advice to Management

Hire more people. Seriously re-evaluate pay for the people you're lucky enough to still have.

I worked at Xerox full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

My peers were great people. Corporate benefits were good and cheap. Decent bonuses, when they were paid out.

    Cons

Up to 70+ hours a week with zero to no recognition/pay/appreciation. No pay raises. No performance reviews. Lack of processes built out in the company.

    Advice to Management

    Start over.

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

The position allows for high level visibility and traveling. It also allows for advancement with the organization and other divisions.

    Cons

The commute to work can be tough. If you hit traffic at the wrong time, then you'll be waiting and not knowing what time you'll actually arrive.

    Advice to Management

I think you have the company headed in the right direction. I like your proactive approach to repositioning Xerox and its brand.

    Pros

Great people. Opportunities for learning anything from Excel to how to manage your time better. Flexibility for family situations.

    Cons

Upper Management is only focused on meeting reveue outlooks and metrics for bonuses. Little focus is on the employee. Diversity in upper management is slim. Increased workload with no support.

    Advice to Management

Shift the focus back to the employee and make steps to ease the work load for AOMs. Diversity should be reviewed in all areas not just pockets in one city within the state.
