I have been working at Xerox full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's a good company to gain experience.

    Cons

No HR on site; but they interfere with critical decisions regarding staffing. No perks whatsoever.

    Advice to Management

Treat your skilled employees like the valuable asset they are.

    Pros

There's a lot of flexibility in your job. Little or no micromanagement.

    Cons

It takes several layers to get you hired permanent, and many signatures. You'll have to be content with being a contract worker for anywhere from two to four years.

I was part of a layoff of several Docucare Associates just this past week. This layoff occurred the week before Christmas.

Their permanent employees have to pay a $6,000 deductible on their health insurance.

    Advice to Management

    None

I have been working at Xerox full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Auditing claims is interesting and useful work.

    Cons

Very little information is given regarding pay, compensation, benefits, or reviews from anyone in the company. Pay is difficult to obtain on time because they do not give checks directly and all payroll is done in Texas with Bank of America Checks and BoA does not have a license to bank in Colorado.

    Advice to Management

Communicate more with employees regarding their performance and compensation and pay issues. Let them know specifically what they can expect and when. When you fail to communicate it leaves the worker wondering if anybody knows anything at this company.
