    Pros

    Hard to think of any

    Cons

    Way too many to mention

    Advice to Management

Provide needed Sales Resources to do our job instead of outsourcing all support infrastructure to Guatemala. Remove the insanely bureaucratic, voluminous form and process rich order and contract process as clients feel Xerox is the most difficult and inflexible company to do business with. Value and Reward the employee and the employee will take care of the client, bottom-line, and shareholders.... Compensation to Work Effort and Achievement of Target Ratio pales and is a joke compared to other Hi-Tech companies. Plan on working 60-70 hours a week, weekends and more. Vacation time off is viewed negatively. Career opportunities for growth extremely limited and a "Glass-Ceiling".

I worked at Xerox (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The company continually trains its employees to ensure that customer satisfaction remains high and that the customer base grows year after year.

    Cons

The culture of the company seems to favor employees that are outspoken. Employees that are .not outspoken are not encouraged voice their input.

    Advice to Management

Equal concern for all employees opinions and input should be addressed. Ensuring that everyone has an opportunity to speak whether publicly or privately needs to happen.

I worked at Xerox (More than a year)

    Pros

    being able to work remotely

    Cons

Was aquired from another company. Although they said they had other contracts to work on, they didn't allow me or another former employee the opportunity to work them. They di9d not want to pay the salary the other company was paying and as soon as they could, they RIF'd us

    Advice to Management

Understand the talents of employees you aquire

    Pros

    Customer focused
    Independence of thought
    Team action oriented
    Good salary

    Cons

Not all employees dedicated to the success of the team or company

    Advice to Management

Hire people that are "customer focused." While interactive skills may be taught, they are not used effectively by people who do not possess them before they join the company.

I have been working at Xerox full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The work is consistent even though there's been a salary freeze ever since coming on board. There are opportunities to work extra assignments, which in turn can make your resume look sterling.

    Cons

If they think for a minute that you're not giving 110% of effort, they will find a way to pile more work onto you. Also, if they realize that you're a mint employee, they will take full advantage of your talents, but with no additional awards or incentives.

    Advice to Management

Think about your employees' happiness, not just your investors (like that's going to happen anytime soon. Lol)

    Pros

Good experience can be gained. The work itself is rewarding in reasonable proportions.

    Cons

Continues to downsize all their internal support and resources, but continues to increase workload with extremely demanding turnaround time. No work, life, balance or support for employees.
