I worked at Xerox full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Not as described! Xerox treat workers more like slaves.

    Cons

I have never worked with SUPERVISOR staffs as rude and unprofessional as this group.Don't waste your time you have been warned!! IF YOU ARE NOT A SUPERVISOR OR UPPER MANAGEMENT YOU WILL BE TREATED LIKE A SECOND CLASS CITIZEN! Why? Because, All of the supervisors are slave driver. Here at Xerox the supervisors want you to call them master and that is so wrong on so many levels. The day you do not call them Master you lose your job that same day. SORRY please don't waste your time with Xerox you are way over monitored. over monitoring provides bad results and low moral especially when getting an DSAT. The will intentionally harass you when ever you get a DSAT when you ask for a 5 minute break or to just run to the bathroom they deny you. SUPERVISOR would say DSAT agents do not need a 5 min break or bathroom use it on your chair. They treat you like a child and it does not matter how hard you try. They only promote their own friends and I seen it happen more than once. Look if you love being treated like a Slave than Xerox is for you. Xerox treat everyone who are not SUPERVISORS and upper managements more like slave. You really have no right there if you are not management. And the management know that and they really enjoy being rude and unprofessional to none management here at Xerox. I beg you to run not walk please. PLEASE do not be Slaves #10000. Our people work hard for us to not be a SLAVES and not to call our employer MASTERS. slavery is still here in Xerox. Xerox let my people free pleaseeeeeee! If anyone out there have any form of dignity DO NOT WORK HERE! Xerox Do Not Have any INTEGRITY,RESPECT,CLASS, AND COMMON COURTESY to the employees at all. I finally stand up for my right and I was put out that same day. DO NOT WORK HERE PLEASE I BEG YOU ALL. WE CAN STOP SLAVERY TOGETHER IF WE STICK TOGETHER. SAY NO TO SLAVERY!!!!

    Advice to Management

Learn what Integrity means, also learn what respect and common courtesy is. Stop being rude to your employees when they have to ask you a question and you expect them to already know the answer. Learn people skills

    I worked at Xerox full-time

    Pros

Great Name, that is about it.

    Cons

Major disconnect between senior leaders and manager and then employees. Have no idea how to run a business, time wasted is enormous, it is harder to sell something internally than externally. They fire people with no study on the person's potential and value they have brought and will bring. They take a ruler to a spreadsheet and say fire everyone below this line.

    Advice to Management

Start at ground level and listen to what is wrong, then quickly go back and fix it, it is not that difficult if there was smart leadership in place

I have been working at Xerox full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Hard to think of any

    Cons

    Way too many to mention

    Advice to Management

Provide needed Sales Resources to do our job instead of outsourcing all support infrastructure to Guatemala. Remove the insanely bureaucratic, voluminous form and process rich order and contract process as clients feel Xerox is the most difficult and inflexible company to do business with. Value and Reward the employee and the employee will take care of the client, bottom-line, and shareholders.... Compensation to Work Effort and Achievement of Target Ratio pales and is a joke compared to other Hi-Tech companies. Plan on working 60-70 hours a week, weekends and more. Vacation time off is viewed negatively. Career opportunities for growth extremely limited and a "Glass-Ceiling".

    Pros

    being able to work remotely

    Cons

Was aquired from another company. Although they said they had other contracts to work on, they didn't allow me or another former employee the opportunity to work them. They di9d not want to pay the salary the other company was paying and as soon as they could, they RIF'd us

    Advice to Management

    Cons
