I worked at Xerox full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Kind, caring supervisors and managers, full-time employment, some benefits, good training ground to gain supervisory experience.

    Cons

Poor pay, terrible communication, near-actionable lack of accommodation to employees with disabilities, firing emoloyees without warning.

    Advice to Management

Train your leadership staff on the ADA. Recognize and appreciate those employees who stick around. Follow an appropriate disciplinary path rather than firing excellent employees for one transgression, such as being argumentative to a customer when you require staff to enforce a "no refunds, no exceptions" policy (What? Me bitter?).

I worked at Xerox full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you are looking for stability and you are fine with talking to people all day, then this place would be great for you.

    Cons

Any upward momentum is really just lateral movement, fiscally speaking. You're either on the phones, or you are being yelled at behind closed doors. This place churns through people with no mercy.

    Advice to Management

Stop pretending that the contracts actually foster a future for employees.

People are really terrible to disembodied voices on the phone. Many people feel permission to harass a degrade you in the harshest possible ways.

Everything would be so much easier and the culture so much better if the hiring process was more discerning. So many unemployable people work there.
