I worked at Xerox full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

I have worked for Xerox for the last 10 years. The average lifespan of an employee averaged about 10-40 years. That is because they valued their employees. It was very much a family built loyal environment.

    Cons

It was unfortunate that they CEO decided to move the administration office offshore which caused a lot of layoffs. However, in doing that I got a great opportunity in supporting and training the transition over the last 3 years. I have added so much value to my resume portfolio.

I have been working at Xerox full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

In my department you are paid based of of the number of documents you entered, which is great for a young person. You have stamina, speed, agility, and you can chug as much energy drinks as possible. Several Employment Protection (more than standard Federal). Very laid back.

    Cons

Not feasible for "career". Burn out if very high. Very unlikely chance of advancement. Communication is more "as needed" than government jobs it seems.
