    ACS was acquired by Xerox Business Services. Great place to work and a great team of dedicated professionals.

    Cons

    Organizational splits and sell off of groups or divisions.

    Pros

    People work well together. Benefits are good, but not what they used to be.

    Cons

    Upper management believes cutting costs and outsourcing/offshoring positions is the solution. Although Jeff Jacobson is the new CEO, the cost cutting/offshoring continues.

    Pros

    Opportunity for advancement if one shows initiative and dedication.
    Even hourly data entry can be financially rewarding if one is able to excel at the processes.
    Ability to network and build relationships with clients which can be beneficial if one does leave Xerox.

    Cons

    Facility based lack of corporate oversight which created a "good old boys" system where friends and family of senior management were able to advance based on relationships and not actual merits.
    Consistent passage of responsibilities and blame from mangers to lower employees due to a feeling of job security regardless of job performance from mid level managers and supervisors.

    Advice to Management

    Increase corporate oversight for local facilities. Decrease instances of nepotism and favoritism and create a culture where everyone can succeed based on their abilities and not who they know.

    Pros

    Senior managers and above has lost touch with the customers. They are more focused on the bottom line.

    Cons

    No pay raises for years.

    Advice to Management

    Fulfill what the customer has contracted with the company.

    Pros

    Great people. Xerox is making strides to overcome the poor environment ACS built.

    Cons

    ACS foundation and structure leaves employees greatly under valued, under appreciated and certainly underpaid.

    Pros

    none really--sad to say. commitments mean nothing

    Cons

    Senior management use “Bait and Switch” tactics with salaries. If a recruiter, or an SBU/Vice President offers a salary on the phone or electronically, pay no attention to them. Such commitments are routinely reneged by Sr. Management later on. Offers mean nothing. I wish someone would investigate them for fraud and put a few in jail. They are especially disrespectful to minorities.

    Honor your commitments. Embrace diversity.

    Pros

    Financially strong corporation, good client base - about to sell off Services arm to ATOS so potential for new opportunities

    Cons

    Offshore delivery support is poor at best - constant challenges to get teas to step up to doing the work required. All falls on the Service business units shoulders to drive or resolve issues - even day to day support

    Advice to Management

    Accountability is lacking on multiple levels - people seem to be afraid to take charge and get work done.

    Pros

    The opportunity to work with resources who are subject matter experts in their field. Flexible work hours and remote access.

    Cons

    Despite positive feedback during performance review process, there have not been any increases in salary for several years. Employees required to take unpaid leave, i.e. furlough, in order to cut expenses. Loss of good talent due to jobs eliminated in the US. No attempt from Senior Management to retain experienced or tenured resources.

    Pros

    Ability to work from home and be with family. Good online tools and training. Nice coworkers.

    Cons

    No raises, no bonuses, furloughs and lies from upper mgmt. Complaints to Sr management lands on deaf ears. Most concerned w the bottom line at the expense of their US employees. Upper management works US employees so hard and no rewards.

    Advice to Management

    Xerox HR Services is going to collapse unless you invest in your US employees.
