    Pros

Friendly environment. Paid training. Great Benefits. Healthcare call center environment. Management is great. Decent pay rate. Good bonuses structure

    Cons

Full shift sitting on a desk making calls. Not dynamic at all, you're all day long sitting. For some people might be stressful, not for me.

    Advice to Management

Improve training so people know from day 1 or 2 what they can expect when they start making calls

I find myself working off the clock a lot because my office is at home.

    Advice to Management

I am a hard worker, and will provider 110% to my job duties at all times.

I worked at Xtend Healthcare full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Worked with some amazing people who have taught me a lot about the industry. Bring back flex time because that was a big seller when I was interviewed and then after I was hired and quit my other job you all took away.

    Cons

We where bought out by Navient and even though we have Navient benefits and have to abide by their rules we still have Xtend PTO (Horible). There seems to be a lack of communication and lack of training overall.

    Advice to Management

Remember the little guys make you guys look good because some of you are lucky to have a job. If it wasn't for us there would be no need for you all.

I worked at Xtend Healthcare full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice work space, new and big. I like the people.

Room for growth. Decent pay for the call center work that we do.

    Cons

Navient sent one of their own to take over self pay. She doesn't have what it takes. Hope they see it before it falls apart because we are hanging on by a thread.

    Advice to Management

Get someone in there that can teach the management.

I worked at Xtend Healthcare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Hours - I could work 8 hours anytime between 7:30 and 5:30. I did not have to use PTO as often.
Coworkers are friendly and almost all are willing to help.
Depending on which project you work, you may have a manager that is great. It is a crap shoot.

    Cons

    Management doesn't listen well.
Training is awful. It is unorganized and weak. Once you learn what you need to, it is fine. You have to dig for it a lot though.
Communication is weak. It seems like those that stay in their cubicle all day are the last ones to know and the info is work related.

    Advice to Management

Listen. That is the best advice. Think before you respond.

    Pros

I loved the people who I worked with who had been there for several years.

    Cons

Navient (who knows nothing about Healthcare) started changing EVERYTHING and replacing people who had been doing this for years with people who don't even know what HIPAA is/was. Being with the company for several years and being a team lead for several years there, I do not know how or why I stayed so long... I am glad I got out when I did because I heard a lot of good people have gotten fired. You're losing all the smart people and replacing them with people who are not trained in this field. Navient is ruining this place.
