I worked at Xtime part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

One of few great companies in the automotive sector with fabulous growth. That, in turn, translates to many career growth opportunities.

    Cons

Some of the employees have been around for a long time and are set in their ways of doing business.

    I worked at Xtime full-time

    Pros

PTO time was fairly generous, most co-workers are friendly

    Cons

Xtime is incredibly disorganized like most of Cox. Management does not seem to have a clue of what they are doing. Many seem to have been promoted through nepotism and cronyism rather than legitimate qualifications. There is definitely some type of "good old boys" system at work here when it comes to management and their lack of ability to keep from being redundant and chasing their own tails. Difficult to get an accurate answer to most benefits inquiries, health insurance is not very good and does NOT have a prescription card, flexible spending account has no debit card. Many benefits are cumbersome to use. HR does not seem to be operated in a manner that one would expect from such a large, established organization. There are far too many disconnects.

I have been working at Xtime full-time

    Pros

Great team work. Easy to talk to management. Company has a growth plan.

    Cons

Travel is greater than 75% if you're field staff. Shuffling around and restructuring still in progress with COX Automotive acquisition.

    Advice to Management

    None at this time.
