      Pros

YRC offers very competitive salaries and good benefits. They are an established ltl company backed by capable management and an experienced teamster workforce.

      Cons

Same cons as nearly anywhere in the industry: long hours, graveyard shifts, weather and other uncontrollable hassles, at times high stress.

      Pros

Proud of 25+ years in of trucking. It has given myself and my family a very comfortable lifestyle. It is a good feeling when you are able to pay the bills and support your family.

      Cons

There are times when the long hours, especially when you are mandatoried overtime when the hours are very long for one day. Local management has very little trust in the companies employees. This mistrust is shown when we are followed on our routes to see if there is something we are not doing correctly.

      Pros

In finance/accounting you'll get some excellent experience working for very demanding managers with high expectations and high degrees of expertise, which will quickly develop your skills and make you strong and marketable.

      Cons

Ridiculously low pay, for ridiculously long hours. Also a company that's going nowhere. Not very forward thinking and also unfair in the treatment of lower-tier salaried workers.
