    Great peers, work environment, great perks like free food, free office shuttle, free smart phone, etc.,

    uncertainty, too many frequent layoffs, QPR stress, demoralized teams and engineers

    when there is no team to be managed why the management needs advice

    Pros

    Scale, people, interesting ideas.

    It was an excellent time spent there managing really complex programs, the kind of which we rarely get in other places,

    Cons

    The is quite a bit of uncertainty especially working in Yahoo Bangalore, Even though the team is excellent, very talented there senior management seems to have give it a raw deal

    Advice to Management

    Decide on what you would like Yahoo to be. There seems to be confusion on whether they want it to be a tech company or a media company and the focus seems to be wildly swinging
