    Pros

    Great environment and very friendly people. One of the best atmospheres to work. I really had a good time working there!

    Cons

    Competitors became giants, Yahoo lost its power in the digital market. That was really difiicult specially in the sales field. Hard to sell to clients that prefer Google, Facebook and so on.

    Pros

    Very good Benefits like free food, top health insurance, free parking, free iphone.

    Cons

    Its not the "cool company" that you might imagined! Its not okay to do home office, Managers are not prepared, low income and the procedures are not well-structured.

    Advice to Management

    Turn-over very high

    Pros

    Lots of benefits and relaxed enviroment make working at Yahoo a dream. As long as you do your job and achieve your goals you don't have to be paranoiac about hours and other stressfull details.

    Cons

    Some colleagues tend to slack because of the realxed enviroment. And those who actually care about the job and the company tend to work double because of that.

    Advice to Management

    Make sure to keep the eye open for empolyees who think that working in a "relaxed" enviroment means that you can slack.

    Pros

    Internet is a fast and challenging environment. Yahoo! is one of the giants of the internet, still #1 in several properties and as a Yahoo! your goal is to help the company to achieve the success competing against strong competitors in several countries around the world. To achieve this success you must provide the best technology and quality as possible and give the word "innovation" a real meaning in order to make the company survives.

    Cons

    - Ruled by short-term result
    - Too much marketing, less engineering
    - Development process is not agile at all or enough
    - Should listen more the engineers, where significant innovations can come from

    Advice to Management

    Listen more to your engineers, prioritizing some of their ideas. Product managers must understand that the engineers can provide and guide ideas for a technological company.
