I have been working at Yahoo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Lots of work to do, smart people, nice benefits and perks

    Cons

Lack of self-awareness around brand, uninspired leadership, too much focus on short-term gain vs corporate mission, and "global" strategy that plays it safe in a competitive field makes it easy for people to be wooed away. Attrition issues. Mandatory CEO approval of all candidates impedes hiring.

    Advice to Management

Take more risks (fail fast), focus on building a world-class design culture, institutionalize innovation rituals, and invest in emerging technology.
