I worked at Yahoo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The people make Yahoo a great place to work. The company isn't arrogant but purple pride runs deep and most people like to be at work. People are themselves and it has a true relaxed tech style with a fair approach to workload. However when needed people dig deep to and go above and beyond to get things done.

    Cons

Yahoo has had a bit of a tumultuous time recently so job security has been questionable and there has been a slight fear in the air.

    Advice to Management

Maintain a professional and inclusive style and refrain from picking out favourites and forming clubs within the organisation.

I worked at Yahoo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Worked with some wonderful, great people, truly fantastic products, and the benefits were brilliant. Learned a ton and life was never boring. Honestly hope that the company survives.

    Cons

There was a lack of people resource so it was never possible to get the job done properly. What Yahoo could do for clients was never effectively packaged up and communicated. There are a few managers that seemed to have taken a Bully 101 course.
