    I worked at Yale Enforcement Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Most nights almost nothing happens so I guess that's a good thing. It is all I can think of as a pro.

    Cons

    Supervisors were unprofessional. Hours were ridiculous. They would call and say be in in the next hour, not caring if you'd slept.

    Advice to Management

    Be better

    I have been working at Yale Enforcement Services part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Yale Enforcement Services train first time security officers.

    * Full-time position is available.
    * Available hours at other sites, if you are part-time you can complete 40 hours. If you are full-time, you are making money.
    * Pay depends on your experience.
    * Holiday pay
    * Administrators are very considerate of you, they will help you to the best of their knowledge!

    Cons

    Well, it is require that you own a vehicle because some of the sites are a traveling distance.

    * Bi-weekly pay

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing an awesome job! You are always looking out for your employees and making sure they are all safe, and up to date with all they need to be with Yale Enforcement Services.

    I worked at Yale Enforcement Services full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    You're a Rent-A-Cop, so suck it up. Pays better than McDonald's but you have to deal with more BS then you would at McD's. This is entry level work so they pay entry level wages. ANYONE can be a Security Guard and most idiots are.

    Cons

    Could pay better wages, can afford to, but they don't because they don't have to. Will Nickel and Dime you to death. Zero support from management. They will hang you out to dry, but so will every other company.

    Advice to Management

    You get what you pay for. You pay $9 hr., you get $9 hr employees. Excellent or Good employees do not receive any recognition. I learned quickly that you get paid the same as the employee that sleeps through their entire shift, wasn't long before I started sleeping through the entire shift.

    I have been working at Yale Enforcement Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    They pay a premium rate and the checks are on time.

    Cons

    The company relentlessly nickels and dimes new hires to a ridiculous level and issues them threadbare uniforms at premium prices.

    Management will not enforce its written disciplinary policies although each communications to employees ends in an undiguised threat,

    Management will not stand behind its officers in ANY situation.

    Even with higher than average armed hourly rates, management cannot retain experienced officers.

    Scheduling is a joke! Either management cannot do it properly or, it's is viewed as a way to jack the officers around.

    Managers at all levels jump the chain of command to over ride subordinate supervisors.

    Administrators are permitted to threaten and disrespect
    Line officers and supervisors.

    Advice to Management

    Wake up!
