    They really care about their employees and their patients. The managers make a great effort to motivate and inspire employees to perform to their best abilities.

    Cons

    Management can sometimes come across like bringing in a lot of money is a top priority, but that can be said for any organization.

    Pros

    I really enjoyed my tenure at YNHH. It is a great company to work for. They really look after their employees with great benefits, including an annual PIP (bonus).

    Cons

    Parking at the downtown New Haven location can be pricy.

    All employees are treated the same regardless of performance. Top performers are not acknowledged and low performers remain the same.

    Educational/training opportunities. Great benefits and compensation. Opportunities for advancement. Flexible scheduling. End of year bonus dependent on reaching hospital goals. Magnet certified.

    Cons

    Upper management overly focused on Metrics that do not affect patient and family centered care, but seems more likely to affect the perception of upper management effectiveness.

    Focus more on ensuring your mid-level managers have the tools and training needed to be effective leaders and mentors to staff.

    No parking. Need shuttle to get to work. Traffic. No flexibility at all. Don't be late!!

    Rising my salary by working offering an high quality service and serious behavior, in time and space. I want to show my employees that I can justify my position.

    I have experience over 23-years on finish carpentry commercial and residential, I do lots of work in different hospital in Connecticut
