    Pros

    Wonderful people to work with

    Cons

I was hired with an RHIT but after I started then I was told they wanted a “coding credential”. I was unable to get it by the deadline and I resigned with the understanding that it was mutual to avoid termination in my file.

    Advice to Management

Keep your good employees and focus less on credentials that you think show dedication

I worked at Yale New Haven Hospital (More than 5 years)

    Pros

after several years you can work your way to decent salary and if you can do this job you can do anything

    Cons

management is horrible- plays favorites and a bunch of mean girls some who are like snakes and can't pass the buck enough or a self righteous control freak who will schedule your every second- they promote the same incompetent people and jobs are made up for the favorites so you can NEVER move from your position- pay for parking, they cannot hold onto drs and the staff that have been there for years abuse FMLA going out for weeks for the minor things and guess who covers their work??? the staff are sicker than the patients

    Advice to Management

they are not worth the words- no support from them you are on your own
