    Pros

after several years you can work your way to decent salary and if you can do this job you can do anything

    Cons

management is horrible- plays favorites and a bunch of mean girls some who are like snakes and can't pass the buck enough or a self righteous control freak who will schedule your every second- they promote the same incompetent people and jobs are made up for the favorites so you can NEVER move from your position- pay for parking, they cannot hold onto drs and the staff that have been there for years abuse FMLA going out for weeks for the minor things and guess who covers their work??? the staff are sicker than the patients

I worked at Yale New Haven Hospital part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good health insurance, especially for part time employment.

    Cons

Some PCAs did not do their job and management did not care. I felt the patients were often ignored and had to wait too long for help with essentials like using the toilet. Employees have to pay for parking. Twelve and one-half hour shifts on weekends and holidays are too much to ask of employees who are making low wages. Half-hour for lunch break is not paid.
