Good place to learn and grow

    Cons

Not flexible hours, under staffed most of the way

    Advice to Management

Very old-school attitude towards work place, Benefits like flexible hours , work from home etc would greatly benefit the work culture and make it more productive

I have been working at Yale University as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

This is not a place that pushes hard; people are very laid-back compared with financial or New York companies

    Cons

Engagements and projects are rarely as advertised. Come prepared to be surprised. While there may be full time job offerings, the salaries are not competitive

    Advice to Management

Be much more forthcoming about the limitations on billable hours and the days that the organization is "closed" for the winter break.

You are surrounded by very bright minds. There are many great opportunities to learn new skills.

    Cons

Their pay is not competitive, especially for the northeast U.S. Teams are often top heavy.

    Advice to Management

They must become competitive with their pay scales in order to attract and maintain skilled, bright employees.
