I have been working at Yale University full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Various opportunities on campus from both academic exposure or music/ arts relaxation. Both professor and colleagues are very smart and helpful.

    Cons

Sometimes might feel a bit intense during the training process of graduate study. The city of new haven might not be as exciting as large city but sufficient for study and living.

I have been working at Yale University full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Access to excellent additional funding for six guaranteed years and through other sources also for longer such as other research funds. Great relation to Professors

    Cons

Sadly Yale is located in New Haven, CT. One the one hand it provides a good student life but other amenities are missing for sure. Needs to continue to hire faculty in emerging fields

    Advice to Management

Keep doing the way you do things BUT continue to hire faculty in emerging fields and review the spending on different departments and fields more regularly.
