I have been working at Yavapai Gaming Agency full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great benefits and employees are treated well.

    Cons

It is difficult to promote once you reach upper management positions.

    Advice to Management

You should put more confidence in the employees that have been here a long time and have proven they are capable of doing higher level positions even if they do not have a bachelor's degree. Experience is worth a lot. Promote from within!

I worked at Yavapai Gaming Agency full-time

    Pros

I can think of zero pros.

    Cons

As I did, if you ask management a question, they might fire you. So, keep your thoughts to yourself and do as your master tells you, even if it hurts people to run the business their way. Garbage management is putting it lightly.

    Advice to Management

Fire yourself after you hire a class of 3rd graders to run the business better.

I worked at Yavapai Gaming Agency full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

the company values are great the training is as you go. a lot of the jobs there depend on your superviser as in they can make it as easy or as hard as THEY want it to be

    Cons

they are behind in their pay scale their time-off policies and benefits are great the workers are great but the management leaves a lot to be desired

    Advice to Management

everyone should be on the same page and make sure the information is shared make sure management is qualified to manage instead of just a body in that position

    •Great people to work for

    Cons

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Yavapai Gaming Agency full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good benefits, great coworkers and fair management. They do promote from within which is good. There are also opportunities to work at the Tribal Offices if you want a change from the casinos.

    Cons

There needs to be cost of living increases because a lot of employees are capped in their pay rate. The Management team needs to improve their training and skills. They are really nice people individually, but don't always know how to do their job because they were put in a position without the right experience.

    Advice to Management

Retain your good employees and reward them for doing a good job. Be open to new ideas and change. You don't have to settle for mediocre. There are a lot of people out there that want to work and will do a good job so maybe its time to let some of those go that don't want to work even if they have been here forever.
