  1. "Excellent way to spend a summer. Would recommend over all other vendors operating in Yellowstone National Park."

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Yellowstone Park Service Stations full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Excellent Management. Great Employees. Best Dorms in the park. Entry level jobs are the best in the park. Spend your summer relaxing with some friends in a gas station instead of standing 10 hours a day washing dishes. Low stress, just what a summer job in a national park should be. Large bonus at the end of the summer (much bigger than either Xanterra or DNC). You get to live inside the borders of Yellowstone National Park!

    Cons

There isn't a lot of room to advance at YPSS. If you're looking to return to Yellowstone for consecutive summers and want to move up to a better position than you may want to work for one of the nationwide companies. Just know you'll pay your dues by working a crap job the first few months.

    Pros

It was a great experience to work with Yellowstone Park Service Stations and have the opportunity to work and live in Yellowstone National Park. They are a good company that vets their employees.

    Cons

Living in dorms can be fun but living with coworkers always has its challenges.

I worked at Yellowstone Park Service Stations

    Pros

Live and work in Yellowstone National Park. Great employee environment. Young and enthusiastic group of people!

    Cons

Essentially a cashier. Repetitive work environment. If you don't like a remote environment you will not like Yellowstone National Park.
