I have been working at Young Living Essential Oils full-time for less than a year

    Pros

First and foremost, the culture. I have been blessed to work with the greatest team and boss here at YL. Like any other company, we are far from perfect, but what I love about YL is that we are constantly learning, adapting, thriving and communicating throughout to better ourselves and one another. The leadership is strong, effective and looks out for their employees. Work/life balance is amazing and great benefits. I've never been happier at a company before!!

    Cons

I don't have any cons right now.

I worked at Young Living Essential Oils full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The culture was great, nobody breathing down your neck, very relaxed and work focused job. Decent benefits.

    Cons

Marketing runs finance and supply chain. A lot of people are not competent in their positions.

I have been working at Young Living Essential Oils full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Decent benefits. Good with allowing time off if you have the right boss.

    Cons

They promoted me for a position and then two weeks into the job I found out I wasn't going to get the promised wage increase. I went a full year without a raise, and I am still making less than some individuals in lower positions.

I worked at Young Living Essential Oils full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Products, New Building, Good pay for Utah County, Great people in many places, Members are awesome, Business growth creates a lot of opportunities.

    Cons

Super unhealthy work environment, a culture of fear fostered by company President, schizophrenic, constantly shifting priorities, very political, etc. There are pockets where you can put your head down and work, but the high-level strategy of the company is always shifting, which trickles down.

  10. "Good culture but bad management"

    2.0
    Current Employee - Devops Engineer

I have been working at Young Living Essential Oils full-time

    Pros

Great, relaxed, and fun work culture

    Cons

Really the company just doesn't care about you. They will lay people off then rehire for the job that was terminated. Management does not care for good standards and practices Nobody takes ownership of systems and tools and the company is very juvenile in their software development.
