    Pros

Family oriented (company picnics, company fun days, etc.)

    Cons

Good old boy system for promotions. Dead end job.

    Advice to Management

Reward results, don't forget that its the mechanics on the floor that make it happen, and then congratulate each other for making things happen.

I have been working at Yulista full-time

    Pros

The employees at the bottom are great to work with.
Great place to network for another job.

    Cons

Pay is below average in area.
    Medical benefits are horrible.
    Leave benefits are bad.
    No 401k matching.
Extremely high turnover rate due to poor benefits and what you have to put up with.
    Really poor leadership
    Poor HR department.

    Advice to Management

Management should listen to employees more and how to make the place better and more efficient. Also, when an employee does come up with a great idea don't pass it off as your own so you can impress the government. Next, you should look at the leadership on all levels. You can't just keep blaming the lowest level employees for leadership mistakes.

I have been working at Yulista full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Other mechanics are great, work is good and fun to work on various projects, job is pretty stress free.

    Cons

Management doesn't follow through on what they say or promise, sometimes it seems like they say they'll do things or get things just to appease you but never fix, do, or get what they say.
Benefits aren't great, no 401k matching, you have to work for a year before you get any paid time off, no sick days, insurance prices outrageous (workers paying for management's insurance, they don't have to pay for it) Good ol' boy system in place throughout all the contracts, especially on the government side.

    Advice to Management

Treat your workers better, there's a high turnover because you don't offer competitive wages or benefits. Keep employees informed of things and quit lying to them. Also, this isn't the military, it's a contract company, quit treating your employees like privates, and quite acting like you are still officers. Quit making regular employees pay for management benefits and medical care.

    Pros

I felt like the culture of the company was great. Overall the people there were very responsive and pleasant to work with. I most definitely would have stayed on staff had I not been moving from the area. I'm somewhat unsure of the vertical growth potential, but in my limited time there it seemed better than several other employers I've been with previously.

    Cons

The only thing I suppose I could reference here is the bureaucracy in some of the processes, but that's to be expected with anything relating to the Federal Government and it's processes/regulations.

    Advice to Management

Nothing significant to recommend beyond, stay the course and continue efforts to create business and keep a great group of people on staff.
