I have been working at Yum! full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great work environment! Great morale! Company really gives back and recognizes it's employees always something fun going on. Team building & very understanding! Great vacation package and maternity leaves as well.

    Cons

Pay was on the lower side & management could use a little more training on how to manage.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to manage different types of people.

I worked at Yum! full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

4 weeks standard vacation and 1/2 day fridays

    Cons

The payroll department had very low moral. I worked for Yum twice in the payroll department. A lot of favoritism and you always get different answers from different people and end up more confused when you asked your question. Low pay $15 an hour but I've heard they have gone up to $18. Benefit plans are expensive but they match 401k

    Advice to Management

Learn to work with your employees more effectively. Don't gossip or bad mouth employees.

I have been working at Yum! part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very easy, great work staff, right on UNCG campus, if you are good at multitasking then this will be good for you. Cash only so you don't have to deal with credit cards.

    Cons

Sometimes managers can be harsh, gotta count in your head, but it's by 5's so it's not bad. You have to get along with your co-workers because it's a small workspace.

    Advice to Management

Be flexible to coworkers because most of them are college students.

    Pros

Yum! Brands truly cares about their employees. Awesome recognition culture.Great benefits offered ranging from health, dental and vision insurance, paid baby bonding leave for mothers and fathers, adoption assistance, college tuition reimbursement and many other offerings such as wellness programs, fitness center with trainers, community discounts. Every employee receives 4 weeks vacation starting your first day.

    Cons

Only con I can think of is that it is hard within some departments to be promoted from a non-exempt hourly position into an exempt salaried position.

    Pros

Yum! is a great place to work. Commitment to employee growth and career development is genuine. Good benefits and pay as well.

    Cons

Some bureaucracies exist that are common to large businesses that can make agility difficult. Nothing that obstructs corporate culture or business mission.

    Advice to Management
