    Pros

Great compensation, benefits, work environment and work/life balance

    Cons

Sometimes accomplishments aren’t immediately recognized, which comes with working for a large company

    Advice to Management

    Negative Outlook

I worked at ZF Group full-time

    Pros

It is a job thats about it, pay is ok.

    Cons

Upper (all) management is verbally threatening and intimidates on a daily basis, in no way can they be trusted, very cut throat atmosphere, no respect for most workers... And HR is absolutely worthless at this company.

    Advice to Management

Do your job...stop the brown nosing, stop trying to put fear in your workers, learn to work with them instead of figuring out ways to get rid of them.

    Cons

Little to no training, high turn over rate, temps are treated like second class citizens.

    Advice to Management

Incorporate a training matrix for employees to complete and be signed off for specific tasks, ranging from operators, to techs, controls and engineering.

I have been working at ZF Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The sky is the limit in ZF. There is nothing stopping anyone from moving up the ranks. Numerous younger people have been moved into mid and executive management, many of which are non-German.

ZF values employees very much. Even during the down turn in 2008 every strategy was employed to avoid any layoffs. This resulted in 0 people actually losing their jobs, which was phenomenal.

    Cons

As with any global company, it is not easy to balance centralized control with local for local focus. Highly matrixed company makes some decisions and strategies had to implement or continue focus.
