    I have been working at ZOLL Temperature Management full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Lots of interesting people. Company want you to expand your skill set, in selected areas. Potential hands on activities when involved with product development.

    Cons

    Schedules are paramount, like no other company I have been with big or small. product development, individual expansion, company policy streaming, all suffer due to arbitrary quarterly deadlines.

    Advice to Management

    Put a little more trust in the people hired and ease up on the micromanagement.

    Pros

    Great hours, good benefits and had great coworkers.

    Cons

    My supervisor needs to fix his attitude. if he was having a bad day, the whole team is going to have a bad day with him. he was very very pushy and demanding. worked us like cattle.

    None, Keep up the great work!

    Pros

    Absolutely NO pros to speak of. Really, really dysfunctional / toxic environment. If I could give zero stars, I would. But I cannot....so I have to give one star.

    Cons

    The WORST demonstration of leadership. Clinical is the biggest concern. No attention paid to actually running trials (nobody knows how to run trials btw except for some consultants). Extreme paranoia is permeating from the top management level. Every employee in clinical department is fearful. You never know what drama will ensue when you come in each day. Leadership fosters an environment of embarrassment and humiliation as a way to instill fear in workers. Employees are accused of random things on a daily basis and reprimanded, including having their jobs threatened regularly. THE MOST HOSTILE working environment I have ever encountered. Scores of people have come and gone since the current clinical leader has been there. Incredibly unprofessional environment. Could never recommend anyone to work under these "leaders."

    Advice to Management

    Rennert: Time to evaluate Circulation senior/top leadership. Your urgent attention is needed.

    Pros

    Interesting and complex life resuscitation products
    Not resource constrained
    If you want a stable job and a lasting job this is a good place to visualize retirement

    Cons

    Design needs are not well understood, tendency to go around in circles without really resolving problems
    Less than average Valley pay, no growth, engineers get pigeon holed for life if you are young and seeking to grow look elsewhere.
    Low morale across all departments
    Company is making big bets, but does not have the right team

    Advice to Management

    Trust your employees and reduce micro- management
    Employ standalone project managers who can dedicate time to planning activities.
    Focus on design methodology before adopting Lean practices
    Yearly objectives change during the course of the year, it makes sense to evaluate employees based on an updated set of objectives
