    Get to work on a wide variety of projects. Flexible hours and only have to work half a day before every holiday

    Cons

    No advancement opportunities for local hires. Must speak Chinese to move up within the company.

    Must hire more local engineers.

    It's a good place for learn and grown up. All projects are team working, you're a part of team.

    Cons

    The inter procedures are complicated in ZTE. You need spend a long time to get to know.
     So team move slowly.

    I have been working at ZTE full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Can keep on learning and testing new handset devices, which were or will be sold in US market with all big service providers so that you can know the whole US telecommunication industry and the newest test skills better.

    Cons

    Payment is very low, no more than a fast food restaurant waiter. If you are US citizen, maybe better. If you are a Chinese student after graduation in US university and want to get H1B from this company, it will be not that easy.

    ZTE is a Chinese telecommunication company, and has big market in North America. ZTE has cooperation with big carriers in North America, such as AT&T, T-mobile, Verizon and TracFone.

    Cons

    Always works under pressure and pay is not good enough.

    Work with the multiple team colleagues, talk with many customers. Meet more people, learn more. Know more friends, help more.

    it takes me a lot of time on the complicated internal process, repeated communication again and again due to the different people, different template

    Advice to Management

    Hope simpler and uniform template, easier process. Spend time on the effective sales revenue more. The first line know the market well, listen to them.
