- There is work-life balance

- Layoff handling was done poorly. - Favoritism: Management pushes some people in the team while holding back others. When asked why I wasn't pushed forward in my one-on-one, I received a response saying that another colleague is trying to get promoted and that's why they were spending all their resources on his promotion. - Toxic environment created by colleagues and management doesn't do anything other than team events. - Lack of transparency. - Giving feedback to management about current problems in the company and in the team doesn't work. On the contrary, it affects your personal growth badly.

Pros

The company has a very young mentally, you have lots of space for projects, new ideas. You meet lots of people in the industry and that strengthens a lot your CV and network. I consider it basically an intensive course. You learn a lot with your managers and colleagues who all come from different backgrounds and cultures and get pushed a lot to develop.

Cons

The level of stress and pressure is not sustainable on the long run in my opinion. You need to perform constantly and deal with so much workload, and side projects, and company video streamings for enablement etc etc etc... It's all too much and after 5 years there my mental health suffered. They don't pay enough bonuses (it's only exceptional cases) even though most people work very hard . They don't pay extra hours and market the "flexible working hours" as a positive chance for you to shape your routine but in reality the company is the only one truly benefiting from it - You then have to work much much more hours to manage all your workload and don't get extra-hour pay or have a compensatory time off program.

- Good salaries (at least in the certain job families). - Co-workers are typically very nice people, with lots of young talent from all over the world and the typical team has at least 4 nationalities. - Interesting company with lots of ideas and well positioned to survive the current economic situation

- Organizational structure and processes are constantly changing - The culture is weird mix of American start-up and German Grundlichkeit bureaucracy. People seem to either love it or hate it. - Top management likes to be very involved in lots of things and some are outright micro-managers. - Everything is a priority
