I have been working at ZeeBlu full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Starting off, the training program was one of the most comprehensive training I have ever been through--the skills I have learned just in the training have made working at Zeeblu invaluable. I have learned and/or improved my skills in everything from general sales skills, to soft skills, to technical marketing, and objection handling. Another Pro is that as a marketing consultant, you have the ability to create your...

    Cons

Just speaking for the role of a marketing consultant, this isn't a role for someone who isn't willing to learn and work hard. I think While I think the training you will receive will sharpen anyone's overall sales skills, as a marketing consultant if you are not a self-starter this isn't the position for you.

    Advice to Management

With a proven business model, I would love to see Zeeblu expand to multiple markets aggressively. I think as long as we continue to train our employees with the same comprehensive approach, Zeeblu has to potential to be a fortune 500 company.

    I worked at ZeeBlu

    Pros

The employees were all really good people and worked hard.

    Cons

Owner is dishonest, has no real grasp of what being a customer or worker friendly business means. 16 hour days were common. It was expected that "Marketing Consultants" work for less than $1500 a month with the promise make "in the six figures" if you were a top earner. It sounded great.... A 15% commission on every deal you close and then a residual for the duration of time that the customer stayed with Zeeblu. One catch...

    Advice to Management

Don't try and undermine other commenters by insinuating they are lying because they chose to remain anonymous. It is a bully tactic. Treat others how you would like to be treated. It will go a long way toward ensure you don't keep having such a high turn-over rate for your employees. Also be upfront with your customers that SEO work is a one time event and not ongoing unless you pay for it. It might be useful do SEO...

I have been working at ZeeBlu full-time

    Pros

ZeeBlu has built an incredible team of hard working, creative individuals all working towards a much needed goal of supporting local businesses. The sales people, creatives, and managers are incredible people to work with.

    Cons

Very sub par benefits (very little vacation pay, no medical, and extremely inflexible about working from home). The company also has an extreme lack of organization and the upper management is simply unwilling to hear alternative views and solutions to problems. It is great to work for a company that dreams big and sets lofty growth goals, but the empty promises of growth will soon lose their luster when you start...

    Advice to Management

A good leader learns and grows with criticism. Any time that employees would provide critical analysis of very broken systems to the company's leader, they would be ostracized as "not being a team player". This creates an extremely hostile, toxic work environment. The CEO has very little experience in marketing outside of this company. The term "fake it 'til you make it" comes to mind. There is also very little (if...

I have been working at ZeeBlu

    Pros

We are the top marketing firm in the region, so it is easy to meet with new prospective customers. We give a powerful presentation and many customers sign up right there at the presentation. It's a fun group to work with, both the custoners and the employees. Lots of room for upward mobility as we expand.

    Cons

We have a huge book of business and we are constantly bringing in new customers. We need to focus on keeping up with the latest marketing trends and make sure we deliver ...Thus far we have, and I bet we continue to do so.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the momentum!

I have been working at ZeeBlu full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The best team I have ever worked with, going after an excellent mission. We help local businesses thrive and grow by leveraging a 5 component digital marketing strategy. Everyone at ZeeBlu cares about the success of the customer which shows how much they care about the success of the company. Lots of fun, laughter and hard work! A great expansive business model making this an exciting "Rocket Ship" to be a part of....

    Cons

no need to nit pick, of course there are challenges, but the Pros outway the Cons by a long shot.

I have been working at ZeeBlu

    Pros

This is the first place I've ever worked where everyone takes responsibility for their own actions. No blaming, no shaming. Also, they really live their values. One being "Take 100% responsibility." Another one is "Own your confidence." "Be fearless. Be humble." Great stuff, especially when you see people actually doing it--which we do.

    Cons

Way too much to do! I like my job, but everyday I leave so much undone. It's my choice, not working later and earlier. These are the boundaries I gave myself: 8-5 M-F. And I always have so much more to do. But even if I worked 80 hour weeks, I still wouldn't get all the things done I see that need doing.

    Advice to Management

If I really wanted to advise management, which I don't, I'd get myself in a management position so that I could be in a position to enact my advice.
