    Pros

    My manager and team are great. My pay is also good. Benefits are good.

    Cons

    Not enough resources. The workload is immense and they haven't figured out that they need to hire more personnel. Its still very political, I feel held back from communicating with other departments for work issues. Culture seems to be behind the curve.

    Advice to Management

    Need more buy in from executive leadership on modernizing culture.

    I have been working at Zenith American Solutions full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    excellent pay and benefits. Good hours. Depending on the department somewhat flexible schedule.

    Cons

    company does not listen to their employees. Puts change into effect that makes our jobs more difficult with no support. All about numbers. unfair practices between departments. Culture of bickering and finger pointing rather than teamwork to get the job done. Too few people are too overworked.

    Advice to Management

    listen to your people. Encourage teamwork rather than everyone being afraid to make a mistake causing them to spend their time blaming others for issues that arise because of something that was implemented without thinking through the consequences. This is to the highest up not middle management.

    Pros

    It USED to be a good place to work at with good benefits and fun co-workers. Supervisors where caring then.

    Cons

    Upper management is horrible, micro managers. They don't care about their employees. High turn over. The favoritism needs to stop as well as the harassment of employees who can't stand up to management.

    Advice to Management

    Ask employees how they really feel & do something about it. Look at who's leading who. A lot of improvement is needed with who gets hired especially in management.

    Pros

    Had a job versus unemployment. That's it there are no pros. Management was deceitful & played alot of games with people lives. They harassed employees as if they were at a playground. Horrible reflection on the company. They won contracts thats it.

    Cons

    The company started folding a long time ago when old management left & started working for the competition behind Zeniths back as contractors.
    Suggestion to past employees & present. If you are truely happy stop wasting your time by posting under multiple reviews here. MOVE ON with your life!!!

    Advice to Management

    Its over ! The company in MD can't survive.

    Snr Mgmt doesnt have too many rocket scientists either

    Pros

    Small office - approximately 30 employees when office is fully staffed.

    Cons

    *Very poor management. Last manager was with the company 2 1/2 years but resigned in June after a very ineffective tenure as dept manager.
    * Very little interaction between management and on-floor staff.
    *No formal training in place for new-hires.

    Advice to Management

    The selection process for dept managers should be better. They should also be supervised for the first ninety days to make sure they are a good fit. for the dept. Management should interact with the floor staff, especially in order to obtain the highest quality of service to the clients.

    Pros

    Salary was good and it is a union job so the benefits were great also.

    Cons

    Coworkers are very unaccepting of new employees and can feel like you are beinh hazed. Changes happen frequently with little to no information provided to the front lines for members. No chances of advancement.

    Advice to Management

    Better training and encourage better moral.

    Great co-workers, good management that cares and provides a lot of support.

    Cons

    The biggest down side used to be the cost of healthcare but that has changed recently and we now pay zero dollars in premium.

    Advice to Management

    Keep caring, keep knowing your staff, it goes a long way.
