I worked at Zenta full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They provided health insurance, 401(k), and a good salary, though I'm pretty sure my salary was exclusively determined by my supervisor who left the company shortly before I was laid off.

    Cons

It seemed like everyone there had their job-in-a-box and no one in management ever bothered to look around to notice that skills and abilities were being wasted in unchallenging roles.

    Advice to Management

    Wake up.

    Pros

Ahhh, Nice Christmas party...? Very structured environment.

    Cons

There is no Underwriter redress for erroneous findings and challenged findings become policy with findings against underwriter unreversed.

    Advice to Management

Underwriter redress against CA's is essential.

    Pros

Zenta is a great place to get in front of prominent players in the CMBS industry; however, you really need to go above and beyond to get anybody's attention.

    Cons

Long hours, not a ton of intellectually stimulating work. When i was there, management was very much an old boys club.

    Advice to Management

I guess the market colored my experience a certain way, but in general, I never really felt like management had much of a plan for us and employees were treated like commodities.
