    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Zero Motorcycles full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Coworkers! There are some great people trying very hard to move this company forward.

    Cons

Coworkers! There seems to be a equal number of people that are just there for the paycheck and refuse to do any more then what’s clearly listed in the job description.

    Advice to Management

    Connect more with the employees.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Zero Motorcycles full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

You go home after 8 hours, Scotts Valley is a nice location to work

    Cons

When you can make more working at the car wash, then in production, there's a problem. High turnover is a result of the low wages. When you can make 40% move by driving another 40 minutes to work in San Jose, you end up doing it. Pay/Benefits/Quality of Co-works are much better. I heard we had a new CEO, other than the company meetings, noone ever sees him.

    Advice to Management

Tie Sr. Managements compensation to performance: sales/quality. Pay the hourly people a livable wage.

I worked at Zero Motorcycles full-time

    Pros

Working on motorcycles, Working on electric vehicles, many good people at the company, great location, and leading the industry in many ways. It is rare that you get to work on a product that is so cool and exciting to use. It is easy to be passionate about this product.

    Cons

A very aggressive condescending culture based on confrontation and the biggest bully gets their way. Poor planning and not having a vision of what is necessary to be successful at the highest level contributes to continued failure.

    Pros

Transparent on company performance Good benefits Motorcycle riding opportunities Nice co-workers Close to Santa Cruz

    Cons

Pay is below standard for Silicon Valley as might be expected being "over the hill" from there. A more competitive salary would be very much appreciated.

I worked at Zero Motorcycles full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great co-workers, beautiful area, maturing product in a fledgling industry. Solid IP for eventual acquisition.

    Cons

High turnover of upper management, frustrating constant battle for common sense in the face of repeat challenges.

    Advice to Management

Stabilize things. So much turnover is terrible for the morale of the staff. I had three bosses in four years, and the direct report I really liked saw his VP change three times also. It is very hard to keep expectations consistent and feel progress is bring made in the face of constantly moving goal posts.
