Working at Zest AI I've always felt totally comfortable with asking for anything I may need. Their unlimited PTO policy is actually what they say it is, UNLIMITED! Any given day there are a handful of people on vacations or just taking time off to prevent any burnout! They have a great remote work policy, but are also generous in flying employees out to visit the office (which is beautiful by the way). The best part by far though is the people, and if you ask literally any other Zest AI employee they'll tell you the exact same thing! There is a culture of respect and genuine care that is upheld very seriously, and I know I can go to pretty much any coworker to chat or rant about life if I need to!

Like many small companies, Zest AI does experience growing pains that tend to manifest in a lack of clear direction every now and then. However, the overall goal of the company to help others always stays the same!

Have you ever done interview & just felt the team or company wasn’t sitting well with your gut? How does that factor into your decision if an offer is made? Obv a job interview time is limited so you never know but sometimes I just have a vibe it’s not a match and even though I may keep going in rounds, I’m always checking if I finally get the gut feeling this may be right. I had one where round 1-4 the mood was off. I felt I was being nitpicked harshly always, they rejected me in the end

For those who are/were in management- At how many years of experience did you get your first job as a manager? How did you make the jump into leadership? For people whose first management role started at a new company, how did you convince them since you had no prior experience in management??
