    Pros

Diverse markets and product lines working with advanced technologies and customers around the globe make for exciting business.

    Cons

At a fast moving pace, the business sometimes doesn't have the time to stop and address internal weaknesses

    Advice to Management

Consider the complete dynamic of striving to have satisfied customers and employees.

I worked at Zetec full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

This company values hard work and loyalty...
Pay and benefits are basically competitive…
Anywhere you go, leadership matters. And the new leadership at Zetec is sharp and on the ball…
This company will listen to your input and complaints…

    Cons

…but if you are a change agent, you must be persistent, persuasive, patient and diplomatic to be effective.
...but pay growth comes by following an old fashioned career path of advancement, which is difficult in a smaller company.
…but their expectations and demands are high, so be prepared to bring it, quarter after quarter.
…but you will lose credibility fast if all you do is complain. Offer solutions too.

    Advice to Management

Products aren’t what make a company great. Marketing isn’t what makes a company great. Profit is not what makes a company great. People are what makes a company great. Focus on people and the rest will follow.

I have been working at Zetec full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

While most of the management is busy in meetings throughout the day (in my opinion, no more than at any other company) I feel that they are still responsive. For example, my manager will respond to urgent emails and texts while in meetings and takes the time to meet with me throughout the week to touch bases. Zetec also strives to boost employee morale as much as possible, they bring in catered lunches, give gifts throughout the year, and support the employees on the weekend that are working overtime.

    Cons

I feel that communication between departments could improve.

    Advice to Management

Keep striving to listen to employees and implement changes based on the employee survey we take each year.

    Pros

Data driven environment where hard work and dedication pay off.
Can work on projects and areas that have high visibility and impact the bottom line.

    Cons

Priorities often change as customer requirements change.
Overtime is sometimes required to get the job done, but it is seldom mandatory.

    Advice to Management

Management has a good strong strategic plan for the future. The goal is to increase business and increase both revenue and profitability. Team work and accountability is prioritized and emphasized.

I have been working at Zetec full-time

    Pros

I enjoy working at Zetec. I see an opportunity to grow in a collaborative and professional working environment. I feel my pay is fair and the benefits are above average (especially the company's 401k match). The location is beautiful, clean, and surrounded by beauty. Upper management is transparent and shares the good and the bad.

    Cons

Meetings, Meetings, Meetings. It seems like all of upper management is always in meetings.
