    Pros

Good team, working from home, decent salary, reasonable workload, benefits are ok

    Cons

No office (working from home is great, but I'd prefer to have an option), low bonus, benefits are just ok.

    Pros

Strategy doesn't seem to be sound at the moment, the future seems uncertain.

    Advice to Management

Focus on product development and rebuild the market strategy.

I have been working at Zimbra full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good compensation and great benefits. Very flexible and casual work place. Working here is fun, most of the time (and depending on your role/team). The legacy-Telligent team members are AMAZING, but legacy-Zimbra team members are more difficult to work with.

    Cons

Can be very frustrating, and difficult to get certain things done due to bottle-necking in management, and LOTS of budget constraints.

    Advice to Management

Be more open with communication and transparent from the executive level.

    Pros

Easy going work environment. Remote friendly. Fun people.

    Cons

    Product direction is in question.

    Advice to Management

More open communication would be great.

    Pros

Good compensation and if you speak up you get the kind of work you would like to work on.

    Cons

    Diplomacy as ranks go higher

    Advice to Management

Have one on ones of employees with higher management too.

I worked at Zimbra full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Humble management, cooperative and helpful co-workers, no turf wars, smart people. Everyone is doing their best and no one is pushing employees over the limits (well, over startup limits)

    Cons

It is a startup, so be prepared to pull your weight, occasionally work on weekends and long hours. If you are not getting your job done well, you'll get fired quickly.

I have been working at Zimbra full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

I started at Zimbra in 2004. This was the best and the smartest team I have ever worked with. The management had open communication throughout the organization. The team was always challenging each other and the environment was always fun.

    Cons

Not a startup anymore. Decisions are being made at higher level at VMWare.

    Advice to Management

    Be more agile
