    Pros

Great people. Awesome Products. great work environment. I would definitely recommend this company to others who are looking to join this rapidly growing spine organization.

    Cons

There is very little support from corporate on new cases. Inventory issues still exist with the availability of certain sets. Its difficult to sell when you can not predict the availability of trays and instruments.

I worked at Zimmer Biomet (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Supervisors who could see people for people rather than producers made good decisions after mile stones where accomplished to reward efforts for positive moral.

    Cons

Watching a department cave in on itself with assumption and disgruntled accountability finished the good communication and replaced it with tattletale sessions is a sure way to eliminate honest growth or continuous improvement for design personnel.

    Advice to Management

Allow the intelligence within design groups to organically share and build self training from each other.

    Pros

Some great people work at this company. They are always ready to help you out getting adjusted. Good salary.

    Cons

Multiple layoffs. Never know whether your job is secure. (Don't know if this has changed at all since Zimmer came in). Management has their favorites and only those will move up. Of course, the typical politics and cliques in upper management.

    Advice to Management

Develop written plans for employee advancement. Give everyone equal opportunity to prove themselves. Don't give stepping stone challenges to just favorites.

I have been working at Zimmer Biomet full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Challenging, interesting work. Good pay and benefits. A lot of responsibility and self direction allowed at lower levels-however this may be due to an overall lack of resources.

    Cons

Work life balance and communication needs to be improved. There's a ton of work and not enough resources to cover it. Additionally, promotions and actual raises (not just the basic 1-3%) are hard to come by and rarely, if ever happens. More likely to hire outside or obtain consultants to achieve those higher levels.

    Pros

There is def a lot of opportunity for growth in this company. Compensation packages can be friendly Depending on role and years of experience

    Cons

Lack of accountability and transparency from top to bottom... When things go wrong, no one will ever accord responsibility.. Lots of communication problems exist between operations and sales

    Advice to Management

Management needs to start developing better ways of communication and accountability for every one in the company. We need to continue to find better ways decrease mistakes and improve overall operations
