    Pros

Provide excellent family/work balance. Really enjoy all of the people I work with. CEO, Scott Anderson, makes himself available to employees and upper management really want to hear from employees and consider new ideas. Community focused.

    Cons

Understanding how all of the departments interact.

I have been working at Zions Bank full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good work/life balance. Compensation and benefits are acceptable and standard for the industry.

    Cons

Dismal management, no clear vision, lack of organizational structure, few learning and development opportunities, lack of diversity, leadership is openly religious (LDS) and politically conservative and differing worldviews are made to feel unwelcome.

I worked at Zions Bank full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Decent benefits, fair pay, depending on where you are working, there may be some opportunities for advancement, good working hours.

    Cons

Computer systems are outdated and have been for years, in the Boise area, if you are a female, this is the place for you. District manager has an obvious preference for hiring women. The tips you get for selling come from someone who you know couldn't sell half as good as the average banker.

    Advice to Management

Overall, I liked working here, but the systems were outdated which caused some serious customer service issues. They keep saying they are coming, but extend it out another 5 years. They would rather hire from the outside than promote from within. Typically getting raises are slow going, even if you hit your numbers.
