    I worked at Zivelo

    Pros

    - There is open communication between leadership and the rest of the office. - You’ll know what’s going on in the company by attending All Hands meetings and Lunch and Learns. - From my experience there is a low level of office politics. If you do well, you’re recognized for it. - You’ll work with kind people (this is not a toxic workplace from what I’ve experienced). - The Scottsdale office is designed with a very...

    - The kitchen cabinet doors - Fashion Square building issues - A few difficult apples Tips: - Ask for what you need and want. You’ll be heard and given clarity. - Things move and change quickly. Wait out the uncertainty. - Take advantage of the calm before the storm. Get organized and prepped when there’s a lull. - Ask for more work and you’ll get it. - Clean up after yourself, in the kitchen and otherwise....

I have been working at Zivelo full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Laid back attitude, most employees are young millennials who do little constructive work, so the bar isn't set very high

    Cons

Company is located in a shopping mall, feel like I am in a fish bowl. Weird choice for an office. Most of the employee are young inexperienced kids. My friend is a seasoned professional and has applied here with zero response, obvious age discrimination going on. Guess they want to hire cheap, and it shows.

Hello, we're sorry to hear about your experiences at ZIVELO. It's always our first priority to nurture a positive, hard-working culture, and we never discriminate against any current or potential employees. We hire only based on work experience and job fit. That said, if we have room ...

I have been working at Zivelo full-time for less than a year

    Pros

-Great team! Everyone is personable, professional, and welcoming. I'm also impressed by the broad scope of talent in the company. -Cool products! It's exciting to see the innovative idea and designs coming through the pipeline. -Strong improvement efforts. The management team is aware that the culture needs some improvement and is actively taking initiative to address concerns and bring more fun and rewards into...

    Cons

-Efficiency. There are solid systems in place for most of the day-to-day, but there is still improvement needed. I've seen a lot of initiatives put on hold due to priorities being shifted. -Reactive. It can be difficult to set goals and meet deadlines when last-minute items come up so often. I often see people putting in late hours to work on last minute projects and address unexpected concerns. However, a lot of...

    Advice to Management

I worked at Zivelo full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - Sales manager Mike is a hustler, and wants success for his team. - There are some talented/bright minds at ZIVELO - The product is attractive, and the office is quite nice - They are not scared to spend money to secure proper tools

    Cons

    - Office is located at Fashion Square mall, but is not open to the public. You essentially work in a fish tank, as all of the walls are glass - Though they are willing to purchase necessary tools, implementation and follow through with those tools is slow and probably requires some sort of systems admin position. - Because of the location (unless you live in Scottsdale) you are looking at a 40 min drive to and...

    Advice to Management

Stop focusing on "aggressive growth" and make your product/process better. Initial investment of $20-30K for a one kiosk/software is very high >10 kiosk leads are not considered ZIVELO's "bread and butter" but its what their marketing efforts have attracted. Restaurant owners are usually excited to make the call, but crushed when they find out that ZIVELO is NOT an "inexpensive option". The product itself is...

I worked at Zivelo full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - You can learn how not to run a company. A helpful learning opportunity if you're just starting out in your career I guess.

    Cons

    - Working for Founder and CEO Ziver Birg. This is really the root cause of all the cons... - CEO is childish, thinks he's above treating his team with respect, thinks he's god's gift to this earth, can't make intelligent decisions, is extremely impulsive, is easily influenced by flattery, can't remember directives or decisions he's made on a day-to-day basis which result in constant operational chaos, spends money...

    Advice to Management

Stop dismissing the honest critical feedback of those who couldn't stand working with you anymore and left. Take responsibility for your actions. If so many of your former employees were so terrible, then your repeated hiring of them just shows how bad you are at making good decisions as a leader. Seriously consider letting someone else fully take the lead. It can't get any worse than it already is...

    Pros

    - Growing - Amazing Kiosks - Transparent Management - Office is Unique - Hardworking Intelligent Co-workers in every department

    Cons

    - Lack of formal training - Many of the veteran employees lack enthusiasm, maybe because of things they've seen in the past but it's to be expected.

    Advice to Management

Keep trending in the right direction. I sense a change for the better and you can feel the excitement and energy in the office.
