    Pros

Super fun work. You get so spend the whole day outside. Even managers and office workers often get outside for a portion of the day. Amazing co-workers and managers. You feel appreciated and rewarded. You make good money (usually through tips) and you get great benefits (limited free trips for friends and family).

    Cons

Yes it is seasonal work, but you go into it knowing that.

    Advice to Management

None :) just keep doing an awesome job

I have been working at Zoar Outdoor part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Just about the best place to work during the summer. Great coworkers, management, and location make for a nice summer job.

    Cons

Pay is per idem by the kind of trip you are on, so you won't make as much money there as you could at a regular hourly job (unless you start getting some good tips). Not much room for advancement in the company, but great for college students.

    Advice to Management

Never settle for less than great when hiring guides, that's what makes it such an awesome place to work. It's always really obvious when someone shouldn't be a guide, and the customers pick up on that as well.

I have been working at Zoar Outdoor part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's work that is fun and that you'll fall in love with. Great culture, learn outdoor skills on the job. Meet interesting and fun guests and co-workers. Management that cares about staff, guests, and treating people right.

    Cons

Really only summer work when you want it to be a career. Small number of year round staff, and the people in those positions don't appear to be leaving anytime soon.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work
