I worked at Zoccoli's Deli part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good people and coworkers to make the shifts go by quickly.. close to downtown action, and free sandwiches at lunch hours.

    Cons

Busy hours are hectic, you feel like you're on a conveyer belt, and you aren't allowed to talk while making sandwiches.

  2. "Good place to work. Love Craig and his family."

I worked at Zoccoli's Deli part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good company to work for in general. Theyre a small family owned business. Its nice to work for local people.

    Cons

Customers were rude most of the time and did not like that. I hated tourist especially.

    I worked at Zoccoli's Deli part-time

    Pros

It's a place with a long history and tradition, well known in town. Work is fast-paced, energizing, never a dull moment; there are many happy customers and repeat business; you can be proud of the food.

    Cons

It's a service business, so you are on your feet a lot, clients don't arrive evenly spaced, and are not always understanding if they have to wait or you have run out of something.

    Advice to Management

Smart (or at least smarter) people do a better job even at the lowliest tasks, because they think, can work fast, and can tell if they've done it right, and maybe even come up with better ways of doing it. Dumb or lazy people drain morale.
