I worked at Zoetis full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Ex Part of Pfizer, Zoetis retains a lot of the thinking and rigorous processes that are typical for blue-chip companies. A marketing powerhouse.

    Cons

    Very political at the top.

I worked at Zoetis full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Decent pay with overtime. Great experience, much more than what your job title describes. Decent healthcare benefits.

    Cons

Might be out of your way depending on where you live. Depending which site you work with, each experience is different.

    Advice to Management

Change. Being stuck in the same old ways will only result in people leaving faster than expected.

I worked at Zoetis full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good benefits, 3 weeks vacation to start with some personal days. Paid sick time. Work can be fast paced and time goes by pretty quickly. Some parts are very boring. Steel toed shoes paid for up till $115

    Cons

12 hour shifts where you rotate every other weekend Pushed to work harder and faster and punished when something goes wrong. You tell us take our time on clean out... then talk about how the change over is too slow. Can be hard to advance.

    Advice to Management

Changing to 12 hour shifts I think will hurt you in the end by limiting growth of employees. Very few new hires stick around and the older ones are nearing retirement Packing operator starting around $12 an hour when another pharmaceutical company pays $16. Becoming a setup tech means nothing to pay. It might help you get a level to get paid better... might. But you do more work. You aren’t Pfizer, but you really...

I have been working at Zoetis full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Good pay/benefits for the location Small town feel with big company backing Don’t have to worry about getting hours

    Cons

Last minute schedule changes, can’t plan for overtime etc Lots of changes that don’t take tech thoughts/workload into consideration Dated facility/equipment

I have been working at Zoetis full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Fast paced work. Great vacation and tuition reimbursement benefits.

    Cons

Starting pay and advancement opportunities are terrible. You will work here for a long time and not make much money. Earning potential is very limited. During the 7 years I have spent much of it working 6-7 days a week. If you are a good employee here you will be over worked and spend most days at Zoetis. Would not recommend this job to anyone.

I worked at Zoetis full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good benefits and a good amount of PTO.

    Cons

Considered as a stepping stone to move up but not here. External hires are preferred even if you have been here for years. Management is toxic and favoritism is clear as day. Managers gossip and talk amongst each other in a group while the floor is drowning in work. Too much micromanagement, instant messaging system (jabber) is pulled by the managers for them to read and is used against you, and phone stats don’t mean...
